Cafe Volere
If you are a regular shopper at Rustan’s Supermarket in Ayala Center Cebu like me, then you must be happy that Café Volere has opened. Before it opened, I was wishing that a coffee shop or small restaurant would open there. All of the other eating places are so far away from Rustan’s so it’s nice to finally have an eating place that’s near.
One morning while waiting for my Dad and Hubby, I decided to check out this new place. They offer sandwiches, hot and cold drinks, and pastries. I ordered 2 ham and cheese sandwiches for Dad and Hubby and got a chicken sandwich for myself. The ham and cheese sandwiches cost P85.00 each while the ham sandwich cost P75.00. With drinks (1 coke, 1 sprite, and 1 mineral water), the total bill was P325.00.
The sandwiches are really good because of the fresh bread that they use. Considering that there is a bakeshop right in front Café Volere, it would be a surprise if they didn’t take advantage of the fresh baked bread. And like I always, it’s not so much the content that matters, but the bread. What good would it be eating mouthwatering fillings if the bread is hard and stale.
